Privacy Policy
Last updated: 27 July 2026
Honest Feedback Time ("we", "I") is a paid app-review service operated by Jason Griggs in Australia. This policy explains what information is collected when you use honestfeedbacktime.com, what it's used for, who touches it, and how to get it deleted. The short version: your information is collected only to deliver your review, it is never sold or used for marketing lists, and one email erases it.
What we collect
- Submission details — your name, email address, and everything you enter in the submission form: your app's name, pitch, audience, stage, an optional link, and your optional "biggest doubt". If you submit a link, the publicly available content of that page may be fetched and stored as part of preparing your review.
- Payment information — payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number; we receive and store a payment reference (a Stripe checkout session ID) and payment status so your submission can be matched to your payment. Stripe's handling of your card data is governed by Stripe's privacy policy.
- Email correspondence — emails we send you (confirmations and your review) and emails you send us are stored so we have the history of our conversation, along with delivery events (delivered, bounced) for mail we send.
- Basic analytics — the site uses Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookie-free and aggregates anonymised page-view data (page visited, country, device type). It does not identify you or track you across sites.
We do not use advertising trackers, and the public site sets no cookies.
What it's used for
- Writing and delivering the review you paid for, and any follow-up correspondence about it.
- Matching your submission to your payment, and processing refunds where they apply.
- Keeping the service running (hosting, email delivery, error logs).
Nothing else. Your submission is never published, shared with other customers, resold, or used to promote the service, and your email address is never added to a marketing list.
Service providers who process your data
Delivering the service relies on a small set of infrastructure providers, each receiving only what its role requires:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Vercel — website hosting and anonymised analytics.
- Neon — the database where submissions and correspondence are stored.
- Resend — sending and receiving email.
These providers store data on infrastructure that may be located outside Australia (typically the United States). Each is bound by its own privacy and security commitments, and none may use your data for its own purposes.
How long we keep it
Submissions, reviews, and correspondence are kept so we can refer back to them if you return with follow-up questions. There is no fixed retention period — but deletion is yours to trigger at any time, see below.
Deletion, access, and correction
Email jason@honestfeedbacktime.com from the address you used and ask, and your submission, your review, and our email thread will be erased from our records — no questions, no retention fine print. You can equally ask for a copy of the information held about you, or for corrections. Requests are actioned within a few days. Note that erasure on our side can't recall emails already delivered to your inbox, and payment records are retained by Stripe as required for financial record-keeping.
Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in access-controlled infrastructure; administrative access is limited to the operator. No internet service can promise perfect security, but the surface area here is deliberately small: one person, a handful of providers, no third-party ad tech.
